5] WOW: Australia Just Banned Online Poker And Live Sports Betting!

CANBERRA -- Australia's federal parliament just closed loopholes to ban online poker under changes to gambling laws passed by the Senate on Tuesday which also outlaw in-play sports betting.
The law also closes loopholes around live sports betting, or betting on in-play events.

4] Deputies arrested 15 people in connection with a multitude of gambling related crimes after a raid led to the discovery of more than 100 gaming machines and nearly $40,000 in cash.
The youngest person charged was a 19-year-old man and the oldest was a 67-year-old man according to jail records.
